Don't use harsh detergents or bleach. Bleach is an absolute no-go. It will fade those deep blacks and reds in no time. Opt for a gentle, color-safe detergent. Drying and Ironing: Preserving the Print
Heat is the enemy of any screen print. Avoid the dryer if you can. Instead, hang your Berserk t-shirts and hoodies to dry in a shaded area. Direct sunlight can cause fading, especially on those detailed illustrations. If you must use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting and remove the garment while it's still slightly damp.
Ironing requires extra caution. Never iron directly over the print. If you need to remove wrinkles, iron the garment inside out on a low setting. Better yet, use a steamer. For hoodies, the high pile fabric can trap heat, so always iron on the reverse side. Consider repurposing before tossing. A faded Berserk tee can become a rag, a pillowcase, or even a quilt square. But if the shirt is beyond salvage, it's time to let go.
